CROSSWALK
The story of the difference in the perception of time. The main character is rushing forward while the crowd is frozen waiting for the green traffic light.
Director's Bio
Daria Volchok
Daria was born in Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia in 1994. She studied at the St. Petersburg College of Technology, where she specialized in the design and technology of leather goods and footwear, graduating in 2015. She then pursued her passion for animation at the renowned School-studio “SHAR” from 2017 to 2018, and further enhanced her skills with advanced courses for directors at the SMF animation studio from 2021 to 2023.
In 2018, she directed, designed, and animated the educational work WEDNESDAY. She followed with the film UNDEAD in 2019, where she served as director, artist, and animator. In 2022, Daria directed the series LADUSHKI, and most recently, in 2023, she directed the short film CROSSWALK.
