Movie Days, School Experience, 16 Modi di Dire Ciao and Giffoni in a Day: different projects addressed to students and teachers to give young people the opportunity to discover themselves through cinema. In the last few years, the focus has been on the fight against cultural poverty: a work carried out in collaboration with the third sector and the voluntary field, to contain the school drop-out phenomenon.

Giffoni and the school system represent a cultural facility that – thanks to constant collaboration – tries to create a network of relationships and activities able to contribute to the education and the growth of young people, as citizens that are increasingly aware of the present and the future that awaits them.

School Experience is a traveling festival organized by Giffoni and realized under the Cinema National Plan and Immagini per la Scuola. It’s promoted by the Minister of Culture and The Minister of Education and Merit. Thousands of young people – from 3 to 18 years old – along with their teachers, are starring in this initiative of meetings, labs and screenings in five different regions: Campania, Calabria, Lazio, Basilicata and Sardinia.

Sedici Modi di Dire Ciao is a project conceived and realized by the Ente Autonomo Giffoni Experience, selected by the social enterprise Con I Bambini, under the Fund for the Fight against Child Educational Poverty. Five regions selected, over 500 personalities from the educational community and more than 5 thousand youths involved in the activities that, for four years, will create a solid educational path able to connect the regions of Campania, Calabria, Basilicata, Sardinia and Veneto
