Jam and Wood
The cold winter is hard on Lena and her animals. Firewood is expensive – and Lena only has turnip jam left to sell. But help sometimes comes from where you least expect it…
After finishing her studies in design at the Moscow State University of Printing Arts in 2004, Elena started working as an illustrator. In the following years, she illustrated for many kids’ magazines and several children’s books for publishing houses in Russia, Germany, Taiwan and South Korea. In 2015 she graduated from the renowned Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Since then she has worked as a director, animator and designer based in Stuttgart.
