Festival dates: 17-25 July 2026

Age required All teenagers aged between 13 and 14 (born between May 1, 2011, and April 30, 2013). 

Available seats 600 teenagers from Italy and from more than 50 foreign countries. The organizations, the festivals and the bodies who forward their participation request (as delegates of the project) will take care of the selection. Requirements: good knowledge of English, active participation in the Q&As of films and with special guests and ability to adapt to any situation, as the jurors will be hosted by local families. The Jury office will send each delegate all the necessary info. Int’l jurors have to be chaperoned by an adult (over 25 years old).

Activities All jurors must attend the screenings and follow Q&As and meetings with the talents. They will award the Gryphon Award to the best film of their section. The films will be screened in their original language with Italian and English subtitles. The Q&As will be held in Italian and English.

The juror’s kit All the selected jurors will receive the juror’s kit (t-shirt, catalogue, program, bag, badge) upon arrival.

Where: The screenings will be held at the Sala Truffaut within the premises of the Cittadella del Cinema (Giffoni Valle Piana).

When: Screenings: from July 17 to July 25, some days in the afternoon and some in the morning.

Meetings with national and int’l guests: every day from 5 pm to 7 pm

Non-mandatory activities (concerts and shows): every day from 8 pm to midnight

Hospitality All teenagers selected by the international organizations invited to the Giffoni Experience will be hosted free of charge by the local jurors’ families (living under 35 km from Giffoni). The Chaperones will be accommodated in a hotel at the expense of the Giffoni Experience. 

Travel expenses: Giffoni Experience does not cover travel expenses (train or flight) but takes care of the pick-ups from and to the airport (Naples or Rome).

Transfers during the event: Giffoni shuttle buses or host families’ cars are available for the transfers of jurors in accordance with planned activities.

How to apply for participation: The organizations and festivals interested in participating have to send an email to giurie@giffoni.it  accompanied by a reference letter from a recognized organization or Italian Consulate/Embassy by January  25, 2026. SINGLE PARTICIPANTS CAN’T APPLY.
