A little girl is on holiday at the beach with her little brother, when suddenly, it’s love at first sight for a mysterious boy she sees in the distance.
Director's Bio
Martina Doll
Martina was born in 1999 in Argentina and moved to France at the age of five. From a very young age, she developed an interest in the making of movies she enjoyed and started dreaming about the jobs she saw on TV. After completing her high school diploma, she moved to the south of France and joined the Ecole des Nouvelles Images, where she specialized in animation and graduated alongside her teammates from LEAP OF FAITH.
Coline Reverbel
Coline was born in 2000 in the South of France, near Marseille. She grew up amidst the beautiful surroundings of cicadas, creeks, and sunshine. Passionate about performing arts, dance, and theatre, she found animation to be a perfect blend of cinema, graphic arts, and performing arts. She entered the École des Nouvelles Images in 2018 after obtaining a baccalaureate in Literature and specialized in animation. Coline graduated in June 2023 with the LEAP OF FAITH team.
Kenzo Talma
Kenzo was born in 1999 in Montpellier and grew up in Marseille. He began his studies in a science degree (math-physics preparatory class) but decided to change direction to study 3D animation. He joined the Ecole des Nouvelles Images, specialized in animation, and graduated alongside his teammates from LEAP OF FAITH.
Edgard Vernier
Born in 1999 in Hong Kong and having lived as an expatriate in Shanghai for eight years, Edgard always expressed himself through various forms of art, such as painting, music, drawing, and martial arts. He knew early on that he wanted to pursue a career in one of these fields. After completing a baccalaureate in applied art and discovering the world of 3D, he joined the Ecole des Nouvelles Images and specialized in Modeling, Lighting, and Compositing. Edgard graduated as a director of digital and computer-generated images in June 2023 after co-directing the short film LEAP OF FAITH.
Lisa VLAINE
Lisa was born in Belfort and had a passion for drawing from a young age. During her last year of high school, she decided to study 3D animation. After obtaining her scientific baccalauréat, she joined a preparatory class for art schools in her hometown. The following year, she was accepted into the Ecole des Nouvelles Images in Avignon, where she specialized in Lighting and Compositing, while continuing to practice drawing regularly. After five instructive years, both humanly and technically, she graduated in 2023 by co-directing the film LEAP OF FAITH.
Anaïs Dos Anaïs was born in 1998 and grew up in Normandy surrounded by cows and sheep. She always loved painting, drawing, and exploring various art mediums to play with color, texture, and material. This passion led her toward more 3D universes, both digital and traditional. After attending a preparatory school for speech therapy and an art preparatory class, she joined ENSI where she specialized in modeling and texturing. Anaïs graduated in June 2023 alongside her team.
