K. and Peter are two kids who survive in Kibera by reselling objects recovered from one of the largest landfills on the African continent. K.’s dream is to allow his only friend, who has always been in a wheelchair, to walk again. To do this, however, they will need a pair of magical shoes…

Giuseppe Carrieri
Born in Naples in 1985, Giuseppe Carrieri has always dedicated himself to a certain idea of cinema aimed at forgotten humanity and hidden places. With IN UTERO SREBRENICA, he received a nomination for the David di Donatello as “Best Documentary”, while with HANAA and LE METAMORFOSI, both co-produced with Rai Cinema, he participated in various international festivals. Professor of film direction at the IULM University of Milan, with his production company Natia Docufilm he deals with the creation of documentary series formats for national and international television networks. He has been collaborating with UNICEF Italia since 2017 with which he was on a mission to create the video clips for the tv show Prodigi (Rai1, 2017-2021) in Kenya, Brazil, Venezuela, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Lebanon, Turkey, Panama and Mali. Subsequently he participated in media missions in Moldova (due to the outbreak of war between Ukraine and Russia in 2022), Ethiopia (in September 2022), Libya (January 2023) and Afghanistan (in September 2023).
