The italian première of “Haunted Mansion” at #Giffoni53

On 27 July the screening of the Disney film that will be available in Italian cinemas on 23 August

Haunted Mansion, the title of a new Disney adventure, will be available in Italian cinemas on 23 August, but the jurors of Giffoni, from over 30 countries, will be able to watch its preview on 27 July during the 53rd edition of the festival, scheduled from 20 to 29.

It will be an extraordinary occasion, destined not only to jurors but to the whole festival audience that will be able to live this spooky adventure exclusively, with a double screening.

Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, Walt Disney Pictures’ “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.

Justin Simien (“’Bad Hair,” “Dear White People”) directs from a screenplay by Katie Dippold (“The Heat,” “Ghostbusters”) featuring a standout comedic ensemble cast of LaKeith Stanfield (“Knives Out”), Tiffany Haddish (“Bad Trip”), Owen Wilson (Marvel’s “Loki”), Danny DeVito (“Jumanji: The Next Level”), Rosario Dawson (“Zombieland: Double Tap”), Chase W. Dillon (“The Underground Railroad”), Dan Levy (“Schitt’s Creek”) with Academy Award® winners Jamie Lee Curtis (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”) and Jared Leto (“House of Gucci”).

Director Simien said, “Our team has worked tirelessly to create a scary, funny and cinematic otherworldly adventure for both new and die-hard fans to enjoy! I can’t wait for audiences to experience this big screen version of the iconic Disney attraction.”

Producers are Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich (“Aladdin”).  Nick Reynolds (“Easter Sunday”) and Tom Peitzman (“The Lion King”) are executive producers.
