From November 22 to 25, youth panelists will be at the MIM area of Verona’s exhibition spaces to be part of Italy’s most important fair on career counseling, schooling, training and employment
The Youth Panel of the Safer Internet Centre (SIC) – Generazioni Connesse is going to attend the 2023 edition of Job&Orienta, Italy’s most important fair on career counseling, schooling, training and employment, which will be held in Verona, Italy, from November 22 to 25.
How is digital well-being achieved? What strategies should be adopted to reach significant levels of online safety? How can we safeguard our online personal reputation? It will be our young people who will be covering this at the SIC booth (Pavilion 6 – booth 32 – MIM area) at the Veronafiere exhibition spaces.
Taking part in Job&Orienta activities will be Mario Marcello Cesaro, Andrea Esposito, Luisa Fiore Annunziata and Vincenza Carmen Fasano, all members of the Youth Panel, which is coordinated by Giffoni and brings together young people between 14 and 18 from all over Italy who are the true ambassadors of the project that aims to raise awareness, inform, monitor and propose ideas to ensure an increasing level of safety “in the online environment“.
Following the Safer Internet Day in Rome last February, the event in Procida last May and the participation in the Back to School project last September, here is a new experience for these young people who have always stood out for their maturity and proficiency.
The SIC – Generazioni Connesse project is coordinated by the Ministry of Education and Merit in partnership with the main Italian organizations that are committed to Internet safety: the Guarantor Authority for Childhood and Adolescence, the State Police, the Ministry of Culture, the University of Florence and ‘La Sapienza’ University in Rome, Giffoni Experience, Save the Children Italia, Telefono Azzurro, the EDI onlus cooperative and Skuola.net.
