WORKSHOPS

A total of 140 aspiring actors and actresses will participate in this year’s workshops, focused on the craft of acting. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with industry professionals and showcase their talent through dialogues, monologues, and formats designed specifically for them. In Sala Blu, the sessions begin on July 17 with L.A.R.A. (Free Association of Artists’ Representatives), featuring Emanuela Volpe (film agent), Maurilio Mangano (casting director), Simone Gattoni (producer) and press officers Benedetta Lucherini and Gianluca Pignatelli. On July 18, Francesco Montanari will lead an acting workshop titled “The Actor’s Gym.” On July 19, two events: actress Elena Lietti and a focus on Dubbing and Artificial Intelligence with actor/voice actor and ANAD president Daniele Giuliani, and actress/voice actor Chiara Gioncardi, a board member of the association. On July 20, two more meetings: a focus on director Andrea Segre and a panel organized by Collettiva (CGIL) titled “Yes, but what’s your real job? The actor’s profession between contracts, rights and union protection” featuring Antonia Fama and Sabina Di Marco. On July 21, Yari Gugliucci will hold a lab titled “AI (Intelligent Artists): Countertrend. Theories and Techniques for Actors’ Work.” On July 22, Manetti Bros. and Irene Maiorino will attend, followed by Francesco Lancia on July 23 to discuss improvisation. On July 24, the guests will be Annarita Vitolo and Ginevra Francesconi; on July 25, Massimiliano Rossi will lead an acting workshop. The program concludes on July 26 with cinema agents Giorgia Vitale and Eleonora Cecinelli, along with casting director Stefania Rodà, discussing “The Triangle of Opportunities: agents, actors and casting directors,” in collaboration with ASA (Associated Showbiz Agents). On the same day, there will also be a focus on Selene Caramazza.
